*Wednesday, June 10 - Roman History & the Vineyards of Vesuvius Optional Shore Tour
You will have the opportunity to experience - and even taste - the monumental effects Mount Vesuvius had on both the past and the present. You will visit ancient ruins of a Roman home that, like the neighboring town of Pompeii, was covered in volcanic ash and preserved in time. You will also visit Sorrentino Vesuvio, a family-run winery that sits at the foot of the mountain and taste wines made with grapes grown in the now volcanic soil. Featuring a vineyard tour, tasting and a multi-course lunch of local specialties served with a selection of their highly rated wines, this is a day you will never forget!
*Friday, June 12 - Amazing Wines & Views of Santorini Optional Shore Tour
Begin by enjoying a short but picturesque visit to Oia. Revel in the beautiful cobblestone streets lined with charming whitewashed houses, delve into the porous volcanic rock overlooking the deep blue caldera. Next, travel the short distance to Domaine Sigalas. Sample a variety of stunning wines on the patio with a spectacular view of the Aegean Sea. Enjoy a wine paired lunch, created and inspired by their in-house chef and based on Santorini's local produce and fresh fish. The courses are harmoniously accompanied by specially selected wines of Domaine Sigalas. Delight in a bit of free time in the capital city, Fira. Stroll along winding lanes or relax over a coffee while gazing down upon the Caldera Bay cast in afternoon hues. Return to the ship at your leisure, via a cable car down to the pier.
